What Is SEO?
SEO is Search Engine Optimization. It is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a website from search engines via "natural" or "organic" search results. Typically, the higher a site's page rank (i.e, the earlier it comes in the search results list), the more visitors it will receive from the search engine.

As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work and what search terms or keywords people use on the internet. Optimizing a website primarily involves editing its content and HTML code to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines.

How Can My SEO Service Help You?
By sitting down with you and discussing your concerns with the return on investment (ROI) of your website, I can make qualified & proven SEO suggestions on how to improve your search engine rankings, improve your customer service, help monetize your marketing whilst building the trust of your customers and to look at any other marketing opportunities available to you.

The service to all of my clients will be the same friendly, informal advice. However, the marketing strategies and suggestions will differ from industry to industry and depending on you needs, technical abilities and budget.

What I do not do is ask to re-build your website. If you need a website developer, I can point you in the right direction. However, you will need to make some changes to your website in order to maximize your online opportunities.

Why Should You Use My SEO Service?
This is a very good question. Before setting up this consultancy, I researched the local web marketing consultancies very closely. I found many great and professional companies who will offer a similar service to myself. However, I also noted their prices! Yikes.

Most of these companies are advertising themselves as highly technical, offering system based marketing, web design and employ dozens of experienced professionals who will take over your website, redevelop it and organize a systematical PPC marketing campaign for you - all at a very high monthly price (£700-£1300). Nice if you are a PLC with unlimited budgets.

However, not everyone is impressed with unnecessary technical jargon or has a high marketing budget. Furthermore, I know for a fact that Internet Marketing is not technical and is a lot of fun - if you want it to be.

My personal service is aimed at a completely different niche and I understand there are many, many individuals and small companies who would like the advice and knowledge from somebody who is down to earth and friendly, but also successful with earning money online, without having the formalities of a contract and the high monthly fee's which normally come hand in hand.

My approach is different. I prefer a casual and much less formal working relationship where I can help you with as much or as little support as you need and your budget allows for, but, I still show you the advanced techniques I use every day.

I do include after sales support to answer any further questions or advise on suggestions you have that weren't covered. So don't be afraid to ask!

What Will Be Involved?
Initially, our first contact will be via email or phone. I will get an understanding of your business and what you would like to achieve with your website. I then look at your website, validate your market and potential customer base to gain a deeper understanding of how I can help you.

After this, I will then contact you to advise if I can help you or not. I will not take you on as a customer if I think I cannot help you and there will be no fee to pay for this initial service.

Once we meet up at your office, I will ask you to sign an agreement which basically confirms you have asked for my assistance and the fee involved. See terms of service. This is not a long tied in contract, it just protects us both to ensure you get the service we agreed on and I get paid!

Then, we get down to business and we go through my SEO recommendations, showing you exactly how to implement them and I advise where you can purchase any further marketing tools you may need to help improve the profits from your website. We'll talk about the importance of keyword research, market research, how to collect customers details and then sell to them again and again, plus numerous other aspects of Marketing on the Internet.

How Long Will It Take?
This depends on the size of your project and how much extra work you require of me.

Initially, the face to face meeting will be approximately 3 to 4 hours depending on your questions, the size and complexity of your website and how much help can be injected into your project. It could take longer if required.

After this meeting, you can go it alone as I will give you a massive amount of information to go forward with. However, I am available to meet/chat with your web designer and discuss the changes required and the tools to implement. I can help you with further consultation on your business website or discuss other area's of Internet Marketing you may be keen on learning to earn even more money online.

Alternatively, you may wish to use my services as a PPC expert and drive even more traffic to your site. You may just need me in the background just to "hold your hand" on an ad hoc basis. The choice is yours.

With regard to the time it takes to see results. Well, this can be anything from a week to a few months. It really depends on your website, it's age, how well it has performed in the past, which of my suggestions you implement and how well these are carried out. It will also depend on if you prefer organic search engine listings (which is free but takes longer) or to go down the Pay Per Click route (which you pay for but is quick).

Please understand that Search Engine Optimization is not an exact science and nobody can ever guarantee results. Results do vary between websites, search engines and industries and as such, we cannot guarantee you will make money from your website.


Do I Need To Use Your SEO Services Monthly or Regularly?
This is a little difficult to answer. In essence, by using my services on a monthly or six monthly basis, you will achieve much better long term results. By monitoring the statistics of your website, your competition and any PPC campaigns, I can make regular adjustments to improve your site rankings.

However, this is not carved in stone and isn't entirely necessary as others will have you believe. It really depends on your budgets and the importance of your website to your income. Many of my customers prefer just a one off SEO consultation to get them running.

Personally, I tweak my sites every couple of weeks, but this is normally only changing a few words on the landing page which can make a big difference.

Who Is This Service For?
As mentioned above, because of my informal approach to helping you improve web profits, my service is ideal for any individual, small or medium size company who already sell online or offline. Maybe you sell a service or product and would like to add this to your website.

It is ideal for those who are not impressed with SEO technical exaggeration, are not willing to pay huge sums of money and prefer a one off exercise.

You may have a website now or you don't have a website just yet, but are working on one or you are re-structuring your current site and looking for some input on how to improve web profits from your online marketing.

There are very few industries that would not benefit from my service. So if you are unsure if I can help or you have a weird business and don't think you can make money from being online, contact me anyway as it costs nothing to enquire.

What Geographical Area Do You Cover?
Because I am based in Winchester, Hampshire and I prefer face to face meetings, I normally cover about a 50 mile radius which covers the surrounding counties. However, if you are outside this area and still need my help, then by all means contact me and maybe we can make a mutually agreeable arrangement.
